Despite challenges, I had a wonderful night last night. Margaret has been really stressed: Chip, our dog, wondered off and we've all been worried about him. The kids had projects at school, and as all the parents here know, that can be stressful. There have also been a few other things going on.

However we eventually did get some time together. We were both quite tired, but it was really wonderful to be able to spend some time together. We didn't have anything we needed to talk about; we got to just be together. At least for me, it was wonderful.
