hartmansI'm now using the Penguinppc 64 kernel. I feel idirty; it's one of the more sketchy Linux kernels I've run. Hard disk works. Sound does not. Fan controller does not (this is a big deal; G5 without fan control revs up for take off about a minute after power on). Wireless does not (and never will) but I don't care. The machine is blazingly fast.
