oblivious

I've been away this weekend in Austin. I just found out this morning that there was a small house fire Friday evening at home. Everyone is OK; the house is also OK although there was apparently a lot of smoke. Perhaps I sholud be a bit less oblivious in looking at the Internet while away.

I was sort of hoping you wouldn't see it, so that it wouldn't wreck your weekend while you were away and couldn't do anything about it.
