Lots of social stuff has been happening lately. There has been a reasonable mix of meeting new people and developing some relatively new friendships. I haven't been able to spend as much time with long-time friends as I'd normally like. Many of them are moving, out of town, or otherwise busy. But overall I'm very clearly leaving a phase of social stagnation and entering a new phase of growth. Work continues to be good in that it is enjoyable and challenging. On a slightly sad note, I miss Austin; I feel out of touch with the people there. I want to visit.
